Our responsibility. Our impact.

Because both make a difference for the environment and society.

Sustainability is our core -
not just an add-on.

We support organisations on their path to integrated, holistic sustainability. And we live it ourselves - in the way we recommend to our customers: reflective, participative, impact-orientated.

Our goal: Rethinking business. Taking responsibility. Learning together. Making real change possible. Our vision and values give us direction.

Handprint > Footprint

The biggest lever of our work is our handprint: we make other organisations effective - with strategies, carbon footprints, processes and mindsets that enable real change.

And our footprint? It's small, but visible. We analyse our negative impact annually, reduce what we can and compensate sensibly.

Our responsibility for the environment

We are an almost completely digital consulting team. Our ecological footprint is small. But even small footprints count. That's why we consistently measure and reduce.

What we do:

  • Climate-friendly mobilityRemote work first and to 96% travelling by train, bus and bike
  • Technology with responsibilityRefurbished instead of buying new with a focus on durable devices
  • Resource-conserving work Digital formats instead of printouts, offices in co-working spaces
  • Financial contribution to climate protection 250 euros per tonne of CO2 were donated to climate and social projects in 2024
(Basis: Environmental cost accounting of the Federal Environment Agency)

Our responsibility for people

Good counselling needs good conditions. We organise work in such a way that it is healthy, fair and meaningful. With flexibility, trust and real choice. We are an experimental space for good work and take what we learn back into our consulting projects.

What we do:

  • Individual, needs-based salary structureBased on the personal life situation, but with equal benefits for all
  • Further training for allIndividually tailored and team-oriented, continuous development and self-realisation as a guiding principle
  • Love&Care initiative Promoting mental and physical health through mindfulness, needs-orientation and reflection
  • Unifying team culture Daily digital coffee rounds, monthly team meetings and joint workations

Our responsibility for successful cooperation

Sustainability needs structure. And clarity. We do not make governance an end in itself, but an enabler. We make our decisions together, comprehensibly and based on values. Governance is what we are as a community - structured, reflective, self-responsible.

What we do:

  • Quarterly strategy reviewsEvery three months, we reflect on our goals, projects and impact
  • Rules with effectIn favour of sustainable mobility, procurement and ensuring data protection and IT security
  • Transparent responsibility Clear internal allocation of roles according to interests and competences
  • Grassroots democratic organisational model No hierarchies, joint decisions, full co-responsibility

Our effect

Impact is not only reflected in figures, but it needs visibility. That is why we are currently developing our own impact monitoring. We are combining qualitative feedback with project key figures in order to learn from this and to make our consulting even more targeted and effective.

Open knowledge approach

How we share our knowledge.

We believe in the power of knowledge that is shared. With our blog and our sustainability report, we endeavour to share information and findings transparently in order to develop solutions for a sustainable future together - even outside of our consulting projects. In this way, we not only want to act sustainably ourselves, but also inspire and support others to do the same.

Impact through empowerment

How we empower people.

Sustainability succeeds when people can help shape it. Through our consulting services, we create spaces in which teams find orientation, take responsibility and become effective together with the necessary tools and suitable methods. The feedback shows: Our approach is particularly effective in the areas of climate protection, resource utilisation and employee satisfaction.

Pro bono projects

How we make sustainability possible for everyone.

We also want to make our support available to those who work for the common good on a daily basis, especially non-profit organisations. That is why we work partly free of charge and partly at greatly reduced fees. We support educational institutions, NGOs, social organisations and associations with our expertise in workshops, training courses and projects. Because participation is important to us.

Our sustainability report

We have been publishing our own sustainability report since 2016. Because we have committed ourselves to this as a training partner of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) and because we want to lead by example. For more transparency and to inspire others.
