Matthias is a certified climate protection and energy manager and has provided practical advice to numerous companies in recent years. He has a doctorate in climate protection strategies in an international context, was a lecturer in CSR and sustainability management for many years and therefore brings together a wide range of experience in sustainable development from business and science. He is an enthusiastic travel photographer and has been with plant values since 2022.

Matthias is primarily concerned with the conceptualisation of sustainability strategies, the measurement of sustainability performance and issues relating to climate protection in companies.
