The United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) is a United Nations initiative for companies that commit to aligning their business activities with ten sustainability principles. These include human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. Much of the content of a company's Communication on Progress (CoP) can be incorporated into the Sustainability Code declaration. Vice versa, the Code declaration, supplemented by a declaration from the management on its continued support of the Global Compact, constitutes a complete progress report. (www.unglobalcompact.org)
