A sustainable company is usually described as one that is significantly more sustainable than comparable companies, especially competitors, or a company that generally invests a lot of energy in sustainability measures. In fact, it would be more accurate to speak of a "more sustainable company" or a "company with strong sustainability ambitions". The vast majority of companies cannot become completely sustainable, as it would mean regenerating as many (material and immaterial) resources as it consumes.
