The EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) is an independent organisation. It advises the European Commission on the development and implementation of accounting and sustainability standards.
It plays a central role in the development of European standards for sustainability reporting (e.g. ESRS and VSME). EFRAG's aim is to promote the transparency and comparability of corporate reports in Europe.
