Due diligence can be translated as due care and refers to a risk assessment carried out with appropriate care with the aim of identifying as many relevant risks as possible. The negative impacts that arise or could arise from a company's business activities, products and services with regard to sustainability-related issues should be monitored and suitable remedial measures offered in the event of violations.
